Since we were split into two groups there was still 3 interns that one group didn't communicate with or even . This created a problem because i got Gabrielle's name in the get to know and this isn't really necessary because i was in the same class as her for 5 years. The get to know assignment required communication because there was not much other ways that people communicated besides instant message or email and also for a bit of time management because each person had different schedules and might not be online at the same time. It was a bit fun talking about yourself and even more fun when i got Renata as my assignment who is lot of fun to talk to with her blunt manner.
The tour was interesting maybe not to anyone who isn't interested in IT but i got a kick of going behind a door or places which said "Employees Only". We got to see the technology used by large supermarkets and in one case a supermarket chain which has a server that looked like a flashing light city in the dark. Seeing the technology was great and learning about them was even better. The pull out thingy and tryna find a difference in the floor which i don't even know if gabby got her $20 . But all in all it was a pretty nice tour and i hope the next cohort enjoys micro macro as much as i did.
Dina!
