Today ends my first week and my first assignment was one that I honestly was not looking forward to because like any other human being, facing my fears would be the worst task of my life. Although I like to meet new people, calling an organisation that i have no idea about and trying to convince them to sign up with an organisation that I was involved with for only a couple of days seemed VERY intimidating. But, nonetheless, I got my job done. I got on the phone and I put on my nicest voice and I made sure that those people at least wanted more information about what I was talking about. I believe that once a person has a goal in mind they will be able to achieve it successfully once that person put their mind to it. So believing this, I put it to work and was somewhat successful ; I got one person to become a member. But this could not have been possible without the help of my colleague Renata Pinder. So now at the end of my week I feel accomplished and i have learnt something from this experience.
