Week 1 completed! This week has been a real eye opener to say the least. We dealt heavily with knowing oneself, loving yourself , being able to make plans, set goals and be disciplined and committed. I knew these things were important because you hear them all the time but this time, actually having someone explain how to go about these processes and asking the hard questions like "What is my purpose?" was very enlightening albeit a bit challenging. Even though I don't have the answers to these questions, I feel like at least thinking about them is the step in the right direction.
Now, on to the job! Tuesday to Thursday was basically just an introduction to marketing research, and just in those 3 days I've learned so much and realize how multifaceted that career is. My goal this week was to create a customer survey, which I was able to do by applying the skills I've learned in school for a real life situation.
All in all, I'm really looking forward to the following weeks of this program as I'm not only learning about one of my career options but also learning a lot about myself in the process.
