Week 2

My second week was a lot more interesting and more fun than my first week. This week we learnt about public speaking and how a lot of people fear speaking in public but we also learnt that we should try to get over that fear and embrace public speaking even though it is not that easy. We also learnt about time management and why it is important. We learnt that to have proper time management you should Plan, Prioritize, Delegate and Defer. My days on the construction site were a lot of fun. I got to "play" foreman for those three days so I basically got to give out orders to those working on the electrical plant and make sure that they were working and doing what they were suppose to. I also got to help do any little things they needed help with (except pour concrete because I do not have the strength to push a wheelbarrow full of concrete) and I got lots to laugh at. I look forward to the rest of weeks since this week was so much fun.
