Going Down De Road with Klip X
Yup you guessed it, week three and I am heading down the road with my new Klip Xtreme Launch I don’t call it a project anymore cause…well…it’s not just a project. This might sound sentimental but the project has become my baby; I must nuture her…I call her Xtreme, feed her, shelter her and be responsible for raising her to stand on her own. If you get where I’m coming from then you will be able to appreciate and understand my need to accomplish greatness when it comes to this LAUNCH, or as Italians say Supra meaning ‘above and beyond’, I think that is fitting. In this post I’ll talk about Klip Xtreme.Klip X offers colour, vibrancy and simplicity, the company is dedicated to providing functionality with a whiff of personality. I am going to, hopefully, sit down with one of KlipXtreme representatives soon and pick this person’s mind about the product itself, marketing and tips for creating theses accessories that I nickname helpers. I’m in the phase of planning this baby i.e. developing a business plan and it is coming along nicely.
Having made my earlier declaration, developing and bringing a plan together is challenging. The easy part is actually thinking about the ideas but then you reach stop signs along the way and realise that this particular design on a mouse, laptop sleeve or headphone isn’t going to be possible. That resounding pop you hear, that would be my bubble bursting. So I am coming up with plans B and C and checking with the expert graphic designers and printers so see if my ideas are feasible. Of course it helps to have a mentor like Ms. Mapp- Watson to help guide and help with developing ideas and presenting alternatives. So basically that is how u develop a business plan, you set out your objectives and then have sections such as marketing, financial, operation and decide how you will enter the market, in this case you do a market survey to get more ideas of what potential customers want.

I am still working on rounding up those members for SEED (Small Enterprises for Education and Development) and booking more presentations. Ms. Mapp- Watson went to her first presentation and nailed it as far as I’m concerned. Pos People also want to Launch another project and it’s looking like it’s going to be well planned. Just have to say I LOVE…LOVE being in charge of my own LAUNCH, my baby…thus I will leave you with a wise saying “To succeed- do the best you can, where you are, with what you have.”
